Dr. Dominic J. Catanese
I was raised in East Brunswick, NJ and attended East Brunswick High School. I received a B.S. in Biology from Rutgers University and the attended Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. I completed my 1st residency at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ, a level 1 trauma center. My 2nd residency was at St. Mary's hospital(currently Hoboken University Hospital) in Hoboken, NJ.
After working in some private practices in various places in New Jersey I took a position in the Orthopaedic Surgery Department of Montefiore Medical Center, where I have been Director of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery since 1996. I also hold an appointment of Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
I am Married with 2 incredible girls, and live in Bedford, NY in Westchester county. I started this Blog to provide useful, accurate podiatric medical information for my patients.
